Optical components and assemblies may fail due to improper integration, misuse, environmental conditions, third-party defects, manufacturing variations, or intended-use mismatch. You acknowledge that proper engineering review, validation, testing, and certification remain your responsibility.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in and to Maple Ridge Precision Optics Ltd.’s pre-existing materials, methodologies, templates, procedures, workflows, documentation, reports, and proprietary know-how remain the exclusive property of Maple Ridge Precision Optics Ltd. or its licensors.

Subject to full payment of all applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use any deliverables we expressly provide to you for your internal business purposes, unless otherwise stated in writing.

You retain ownership of materials you provide to us, including specifications, drawings, samples, and business data. By providing such materials, you grant Maple Ridge Precision Optics Ltd. a limited license to use, reproduce, modify, and analyze them solely as necessary to perform the services.
